ABOUT

Incepted on 17th May 2021, Roots is a skill development initiative of the Guwahati Hub. The main objective of the project is to mentor and equip young professionals in the age group of 16-30 years with necessary skills while raising funds towards COVID-19 relief the Hub raised funds via this project where applicants were asked to voluntarily donate any money towards COVID-19 relief. Over its short span, Roots have covered various topics through its interactive sessions:

  • Communication and Negotiation

  • Startup Ecosystem and Entrepreneurship

  • Networking and Social Impact

Till date, Roots have covered:

  • 31 Sessions consisting of engagement of 8 mentors and 31 mentees

  • Raised Funds of INR 5000 for COVID-19 relief

  • Every 4 out of 5 mentees rated the session as 5/5 in terms of content, mentor interaction and overall session quality​
