The Youth Engagement in Water Governance is a series of virtual capacity-building workshop led by Aaranyak in partnership with India Water Partnership and Global Shapers Guwahati Hub

OBJECTIVES

  • Series of interactive sessions for capacity building of youths. 

  • Analyzing water related issues from a socio-ecological perspective.

  • Long term plan for youth involvement in addressing water challenges of the future.

  • Promoting potential candidates as ‘Young Water Champions’.

  • Six workshop series designed to equip participants with knowledge and tools in identifying challenges around local water bodies and initiating actions.

Co-hosted 6 webinars on the topic 'Youth Engagement in Water Governance in Assam' with Aaranyak and India Water Partnership. In the 6 webinars conducted till Dec 2021, 61 youths have participated
